HOW CONTACT PATCH WORKS
A Clear, Physical Emergency Identification System
Contact Patch is a simple In Case of Emergency identification system made up of three key components. Each plays a role in protecting and presenting vital information clearly and reliably.
The mounting patch is permanently fixed to your clothing or equipment, either sewn on or attached using the supplied neoprene-style adhesive.
By staying attached to the gear you rely on, this form of In Case of Emergency identification reduces the risk of emergency details being forgotten, misplaced, or left behind.
The coloured outer patch acts as the visible marker of your emergency identification.
It protects your information from the elements while making emergency contact details immediately obvious to first responders or those nearby. Visibility is a critical part of any effective emergency identification system, especially in high-pressure situations.
At the centre of the Contact Patch system is a durable 0.3mm PVC emergency information card.
The card includes clearly printed fields for:
- Emergency contact information
- Medical conditions and allergies
- Insurance details
Using the supplied permanent pen, you complete the card and place it securely within the patch, ensuring essential information is available at the point it’s needed.
